Practical Nursing at Northwest Technical College: Course Work via the Internet and Clinicals in the Student’s Community
When we are ill, we rely not only on medication and treatment, but also on the attention and care provided by nursing professionals. Yet, Minnesota’s hospitals and health care facilities are experiencing an acute shortage of these professionals. To help address this need, Minnesota’s Northwest Technical College developed an online practical nursing program, which celebrates its fifth anniversary this year.
