Phoenix Life Insurance Company Selects Click2learn’s Aspen

(Nasdaq:CLKS) today announced that Phoenix Life Insurance Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Phoenix Companies Inc., (NYSE:PNX) and a leading provider of comprehensive life insurance products for a variety of wealth management needs, has selected the Aspen Productivity Suite(TM) to deliver and manage a comprehensive learning and performance initiative for its 2,500 employees across the organization.

Phoenix Life Insurance will utilize the Aspen Learning Management System (LMS) to revamp its existing training management and administrative functions, as well as to create a self-service training environment in which employees can register for courses. Initially, the company will employ Aspen LMS to manage the wide range of instructor-led training offerings presented by internal and external training providers, which address such subjects as management development, technical training courses and IT certification requirements.

Additionally, Phoenix Life Insurance is exploring options to leverage the Aspen platform in conjunction with off-the-shelf e-learning. The company also will take advantage of Aspen’s Performance Management module and 360(degree) assessment capabilities to manage job skills and competencies assessments and to drive the development of curricula tailored to meet specific job requirements.
