The CPB/WGBH National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) is a research and development facility dedicated to the issues of media and information technology for people with disabilities in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities. NCAM’s mission is: to expand access to present and future media for people with disabilities; to explore how existing access technologies may benefit other populations; to represent its constituents in industry, policy and legislative circles; and to provide access to educational and media technologies for special needs students.

December 9, 2002, 2:00 – 3:00 PM ET

The Corporate University Resource Group (CURG) audioconference will feature innovative corporate partnerships and how to build a salesforce. Our guest will be Doug Lynch, Assistance Dean, New Business Initiatives and Corporate Learning Services, New York University.

January 15, 2003, 3:00 – 4:00 PM ET

Bruce Landon, who presented on Course Management Systems (CMS) Evaluation in April 2002 for TARG, will return as January’s guest speaker. Those who attended the April 2002 audioconference found his presentation, “Supporting High-Stakes CMS Decision Making,” extremely useful. Bruce and his team finished a major redesign of their comparison of various CMS. Bruce is Senior Advisor for Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications

(WCET) and also Faculty in the Psychology Department at Douglas College in British Columbia. For this TARG audioconference, he will discuss “Edutools. info for CMS info – quick tour and update.”
