NCR selects KnowledgeNet for e-learning

February 10, 2004

KnowledgeNet®, the fastest-growing e-learning company, today announced that NCR Corporation has signed an agreement for access to over 450 expert-led and self-paced e-learning technology titles.

NCR expanded its partnership with KnowledgeNet based on past success with KnowledgeNet’s e-learning courseware, superiority of KnowledgeNet’s content and their specialization with Cisco®.

“We’ve been using KnowledgeNet’s products since 2002,” said John Casserly, service delivery learning leader at NCR. “Their content is a cost-effective way to help keep our employees Cisco-certified – helping to maintain our Cisco Gold Partner status. Plus, they have exclusive ‘specialization’ content with Cisco that no other e-learning company has.”

NCR required an e-learning partner that had the highest-quality content, was easily accessible, leveraged an industry expert and included tools to show and measure results. KnowledgeNet not only met these requirements, but they were also easy to use, and the most economical solution. KnowledgeNet’s multimedia-rich self-paced format encourages student participation and continuously facilitates knowledge transfer throughout each course.

“NCR has been a long-standing leader as a global technology company, and we are thrilled to be chosen for this important e-learning initiative,” said Tom Graunke, CEO and co-founder, KnowledgeNet. “I know how rigorous NCR’s selection process was, so this multi-year agreement is a testament to the sophistication of our expert-led technology. We look forward to meeting their needs for many years to come.”
