MPI Tech Announces Agreement with HP to Offer Bluetooth Printing Solution
Copenhagen, Denmark MPI Tech, a leading vendor of Workflow & Output Management solutions, today announced an agreement with Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) involving MPI Techs Bluetooth wireless technology. Through this relationship, MPI Tech is working with HP to provide consumers with one of the first Bluetooth printing solutions on the market.
Under the agreement, MPI Tech will establish with HP a worldwide sales and marketing co-operation for MPI Techs Bluetooth Printer Adapter solution for the HP Deskjet 900C series inkjet printers and HP LaserJet 1000, 2000 and 4000 series printers. The Bluetooth Printer Adapter allows wireless printing from HP and non-HP notebook and handheld computers, mobile phones, printers and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
MPI Techs Bluetooth Printer Adapter initially will be marketed in North America, Germany, France and the UK and is expected to start shipping in late June 2001.
