The American Council on Education (ACE) and EDUCAUSE have just published “Distributed Education and Its Challenges: An Overview” as the first in a series. This introductory volume frames the core issues associated with distributed education and sets the context for institutional leaders to establish an informed perspective. The series, titled Distributed Education: Challenges, Choices, and a New Environment, will include six monographs published over the course of one year. Complimentary copies have been mailed to EDUCAUSE member reps, ACE members, and NLII reps. Additional copies can be ordered from ACE, and the full text is available online.
