Microsoft launches Office 2001 for Mac
Executives from Microsoft, Apple Computer and FileMaker were on hand Wednesday at the downtown San Francisco CompUSA store as Microsoft officially launched Office 2001 for Mac, the latest version of the company’s productivity suite. About 100 Mac users crowded CompUSA’s Apple Store–a white, vaulted area otherwise known as “the Cathedral.”
