Marconi and InnovaCom Sign Joint Sales and Marketing Agreement

SANTA CLARA, Calif., and PITTSBURGH, Jan 30, 2001 — InnovaCom, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MPEG), a leading manufacturer of video transmission systems and software solutions and Marconi (Nasdaq: MONI; London), a supplier of advanced communications solutions, announced today that they have signed a joint sales and marketing agreement. Under the non-exclusive agreement, the companies have formed a relationship to collaborate on joint sales and marketing efforts to deliver Marconi’s broadband network solutions and InnovaCom’s content delivery offerings to customers in sectors such as public school systems and higher education.
