Washington, D.C. –The nation’s future economic well-being will considerably weaken unless it increases the percentage of minority students who graduate from high school to at least the level of their white peers, according to conservative calculations by the Alliance for Excellent Education in its new issue brief, Demography as Destiny: How America Can Build a Better Future, funded by MetLife Foundation.
