Knowledge Impact Brings Web-based Training and Customization Expertise to Province of British Columbia

February 27, 2002

Knowledge Impact announced it has been selected by the Province of British Columbia to create a customized training and performance support solution for end-users of its PeopleSoft application. The government will count on Knowledge Impact’s PeopleSoft expertise to create a highly simulated, highly interactive learning environment where end-users working in the application will receive customized support.

Under the terms of the agreement, Knowledge Impact will create Web-Based Training (WBT) for the rollout of PeopleSoft Human Resources to Province employees, as well as make customizations to PeopleSoft’s End User Training (EUT) Kit. The Province selected Knowledge Impact to help develop an introductory Web-Based Training course (an end-user training solution that can be delivered over the Province’s intranet or run locally from a CD-ROM) that will fully simulate the PeopleSoft application environment to provide on-demand instruction.

“With Knowledge Impact’s WBT, we will improve end-user productivity by bringing on-demand training to our users and will be able to deliver this training to a large audience,” said Ellen Pelto, Manager, Client Support Services. “We turned to Knowledge Impact because of their knowledge of the EUT, having developed the Web-Based Learning Assistant architecture for PeopleSoft. It made sense to go straight to the source.”

“We are very excited to be delivering this solution to the Province of British Columbia. Their end-users will truly benefit from our experience with the PeopleSoft application and the architecture of the WLA,” said Terry Allen, Senior Account Executive for Knowledge Impact. “We are hoping,” said David J. Stanvick, Vice President of Marketing at Knowledge Impact, “that this will be the first of many opportunities to provide the Province of British Columbia with our e-learning and performance support expertise, and the beginning of a long, professional working relationship between us.”
