ISTE & CoSN Comments on the Children’s Internet Protection Act
The Childrens Internet Protection Act (CHIP) will go into affect on April 20, 2001. ISTE & CoSN outline concerns and suggestions for CHIP before the Federal Communications Commission. Issues addressed in the comments federal grant programs, the autonomy of local school districts, filtering, and other questions related to Internet safety.
