Intrepid Learning Solutions Names Nelson Rockefeller, Jr.

Intrepid is the product of the combination of a group of experienced training management and outsourcing executives along with Lguide, the leading independent research and consulting firm focused on corporate learning. Intrepid was formed to provide innovative outsourced training solutions that enhance an organization’s ability to contain costs and achieve strategic business objectives.

Rockefeller joins the Intrepid senior management team, which includes:

• Hans Amell, Chairman of the Board and Chief Strategy Officer. Amell is former COO of Rosenbluth Travel, the world’s largest outsourced travel company. He has served as a senior executive at The Conference Board, Allied Signal, Dun and Bradstreet, Ericsson and McKinsey.

• Robert Falcone, Chief Financial Officer. Falcone served for nearly a decade as Chief Financial Officer of Nike, one of the leading corporate users of outsourced services, during its growth from $2 billion in annual revenue to $10 billion. Falcone was also CFO at 800.com and a Partner at Price Waterhouse.

• Brad Johnson, EVP of Managed Services. Before joining Intrepid, Johnson directed the highly successful transformation of training services for Fortune 500 technology leader EMC. Johnson has also been an executive at PepsiCo, Polaroid, and KPMG.

Nelson Rockefeller will lead Intrepid’s business development and strategic partnership efforts and coordinate the company’s training outsourcing sales and marketing. He has a strong background in business, education and government service.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Rockefeller served in a variety of posts. He served as Policy Assistant to the United States Senate Majority Leader, where his duties included coordination of job training and workforce development policy issues. He has also been Special Assistant to the Deputy Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, with analysis responsibilities covering multi-billion dollar federal programs. As an associate at JP Morgan, he provided equity selection and analysis services.

Rockefeller has served as a Trustee of the State University of New York and as an Advisory Council Member of the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research Advisory Council. Rockefeller earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Columbia University Business School. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of The Conservation Fund.
