Intrepid Learning Solutions and Boeing Expand Relationship

October 17, 2003

(Seattle, October 16, 2003)— Intrepid Learning Solutions, a leading innovator in managed training solutions, has been awarded a significant expansion of its training services relationship with The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA).

Boeing, the world’s largest aerospace corporation, has awarded a five-year, multi-million dollar contract to Intrepid to deliver Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness training to Boeing employees in the Puget Sound region. The new agreement, which has an option for a sixth year, represents a deepening of the Intrepid relationship beyond the multi-million dollar training design and development contract awarded to Intrepid earlier this year. Intrepid will continue to work closely with the Learning, Education, Assessments and Development (LEAD) organization of Boeing Shared Services Group in the implementation of both contracts. High quality safety, health and environmental awareness training is a crucial component of ensuring governmental compliance and a safe and healthy workplace.

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with Intrepid,” said Bob Kelly, Director of Learning, Education, Assessments and Development, Boeing Shared Services Group. “Intrepid is providing solid value to The Boeing Company and it makes tremendous sense for us to expand the relationship.”

“Intrepid has focused intently on providing Boeing with the highest quality training services possible,” said Intrepid CEO Christopher Hedrick. “This second long-term, multi-million dollar contract is a great validation of the value of our work for one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated corporations.”
