Collaboration between researchers is essential to discovery. In the 1950s, Francis Crick and James Watson worked side by side in a University of Cambridge lab to unravel “the secret of life” — the structure of DNA.

But like-minded researchers are not always in the same place. With the establishment of a new high-speed, high-bandwidth network between universities in California and Mexico, researchers can share resources and foster collaboration between the two countries.
