Saba SABA, the leading provider of Human Capital Development and Management (HCDM) solutions, today announced that Hyundai Motor America is in production with Saba Learning to track training and certifications across dealer employees throughout the US. Hyundai is currently using the Saba solution to offer e-learning to training administrators across its regional dealerships, and it will roll out the system to all 15,000 dealer employees on March 1, 2002.

Keith Duckworth, Vice President of Administrative Services at Hyundai, stated: “The deployment of Saba Learning was a great success. We are extremely pleased that Saba Learning can be molded to fit complex organizational hierarchies, specifically meeting the needs of franchises. We are also very happy with the Saba team’s ability to execute and successfully meet our business needs.”

Hyundai is using Saba Learning to meet the requirements posed by a franchise business model including:

  • Consolidating and centralizing training records from multiple systems into a single system

  • Tracking the training, technical level, and certification records of employees who often work for multiple Hyundai dealers or who switch to different Hyundai dealers

  • Ensuring that required ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are current and have not expired

  • Improving employee productivity and performance by offering all forms of learning, including instructor led training and online courseware

“We are pleased to support Hyundai’s business with solutions designed to improve performance throughout its extended enterprise,” said Saba Founder and CEO, Bobby Yazdani. “Leading automakers around the world continue to share our vision of developing human capital to ensure that their people have the knowledge and skills required to execute business objectives.”
