Grant boosts virtual science lessons
During the next five years, schools here will participate in a $10 million collaborative research project aimed at helping students unravel hard-to-grasp scientific theories. Instead of listening passively to lectures outlining concepts, students will work with interactive software that stresses problem-solving and creative thinking rather than memorization.
