GeoLearning Contributes to Education Program at ASTD TechKnowledge 2005

Subtitled eTensify: Take E-Learning to the Next Level, ASTD’s premier learning technology event features several contributions from GeoLearning as part of the conference’s education program designed for e-learning decision makers, managers and developers.

GeoLearning’s vice president of client development, John Shrader, will lead a workshop called Working with LMS & LCMS Vendors: Getting What You Want on Thursday, February 3 at 10:30am in Demo Area #2 (next to the Cyber Center on the expo hall floor). Using the LMS and LCMS Requirements Checklists provided in this session, attendees will learn how to define business requirements, work effectively with potential vendors, and conduct an objective platform evaluation.

GeoLearning’s vice president of marketing, Will Hipwell, will participate on a panel discussion moderated by e-learning analyst Josh Bersin. What Works in LMSs? A Discussion with Buyers & Vendors is on Thursday, February 3 at 2:30pm in Capri Room 112/113. Panelists will review best practices in the implementation and ongoing use of LMSs. The panel will include leading vendors and training professionals whose organizations have implemented and actively use LMSs.
