Futuremedia Agrees Expanded Co-Marketing Activities With Microsoft To Promote Learning For Allâ„¢

July 15, 2004

“HCI offers employers a tax-efficient and cost effective way of providing their staff with a tangible employee benefit for a minimal investment. Our Learning For All programme capitalizes on the HCI initiative to engage people and enhance performance by providing a home computer and exciting learning packages for the whole family in addition to the employees’ access to their own learning zone”, said Mats Johansson CEO of Futuremedia. “This relationship between Futuremedia and Microsoft demonstrates the two companies’ key strengths and their joint commitment to increase the individual ownership of computers in support of individual, organisational and Governmental goals”.

The first co-marketing activity is to jointly host a seminar on “How the Home Computing Initiative can benefit your Organisation”. This will be held on 10th September 2004 at the Microsoft campus in Reading. Major Futuremedia clients from Royal Mail and Kettering Borough Council will give their accounts of why they are implementing Learning for All and the organizational and employee advantages gained.

Danny Ovens, HCI Manager at Microsoft UK, said: “Futuremedia is an award winning HCI provider and they are significantly extending the benefits that can be gained through the UK Government’s Home Computing Initiative. We are delighted to be working with Futuremedia to promote our shared outcome of getting more employees using computers in the home and Microsoft fully supports this initiative.”
