Evaluation in Distance Learning: Course Evaluation

If a primary aim of evaluating instruction is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the teaching and learning involved, there are a variety of procedures that can be adopted to inform the activities of those involved in providing and supporting instruction. In this article the authors discuss both formative evaluation and summative evaluation at the course level.
