E-Learning Websites Partner: Private Lessons and ProfessionalCEU Offer Career Development, Personal Enrichment Opportunities
Private Lessons Channel has established a partnership to offer the professional continuing education programs of ProfessionalCEU.com on its web site, www.privatelessons.net.
Both Private Lessons and ProfessionalCEU are e-learning web sites. Private Lessons offers interactive online programs in the areas of personal enrichment and career development, and ProfessionalCEU (www.professionalceu.com) provides approved education programs to professionals who require continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain a professional license.
ProfessionalCEU courses in health-related fields will be featured on the Private Lessons Channel, and the sites will be linked.
“We are proud to offer the courses of our partner ProfessionalCEU and to bring our audiences quality e-learning opportunities that they need to fulfill their professional continuing education requirements,” said John Ramo, chief executive officer of Digital Directions International, parent company of Private Lessons. “ProfessionalCEU allows Private Lessons to broaden its scope to include the widespread audiences that seek continuing education in a cost-effective, time-efficient manner.”
The partnership enables ProfessionalCEU access to additional markets reached by the Private Lessons Channel’s promotions through affiliated Public Broadcasting Service stations, reaching approximately 10 million households per week, as well as through its affiliation as a content provider on AOL’s Research & Learn Channel.
ProfessionalCEU offers Private Lessons a broader scope to its current offerings by serving an audience that seeks ongoing continuing education to meet professional requirements.
Further, the alliance will enable parent companies Digital Directions International, Inc., and Learning Information Technologies, Inc., to jointly develop additional courses, both professional and personal, and to further promote each other’s mission of fulfilling educational needs in an interactive, online environment.
“Our partnership with the Private Lessons Channel offers ProfessionalCEU an extraordinary opportunity to reach PBS viewers and AOL subscribers who want to take their continuing education courses conveniently online,” said Peter Begalla, president of Learning Information Technologies.
