Docent Selected by GlaxoSmithKline as eLearning Solutions Provider for More Than 100,000 Employees Worldwide
Setting the standard for eLearning in the Life Science industry, Docent Inc.

companies, today announced that GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE:GSK) will standardize
its learning on a single global implementation of the Docent Enterprise™
Learning Management Server (LMS) for the company’s base of more than 100,000
employees. As a result, all employees will be able to identify and access a
wide range of learning opportunities from a single online source, and learning
professionals will be able to effectively track compliance with regulatory and
corporate learning requirements and manage learning resources.
Over time the system may also be extended to allow suppliers to learn about
GSK’s business and processes, and to enable customers to learn more about GSK’s
products. The implementation is expected to deliver financial and operational
benefits to each GSK business unit with all new LMS requirements now being met
using the Docent system rather than via independent implementations. Additionally,
migration feasibility plans are being developed for other existing LMS installations
within GSK.
