Dems float $3.4B in new teacher aid
chambers of Congress have introduced a bill that would provide $3.4 billion in additional funding to improve the quality of teaching in the nation’s schools, including $200 million to recruit math and science teachers and another $200 million to develop data systems for tracking and analyzing student progress and train teachers in their use.
