David A. Hutchison joins Collegis board

Hutchison, former co-founder and executive vice president of Newtrend Management Corp., becomes the 12th member of the board, which oversees operations for Collegis, the leading provider of comprehensive technology and business services to higher education.

A Certified Public Accountant and graduate of the University of Illinois, Hutchison brings more than 40 years of financial management and administration experience to the board, including similar board membership with DELTAK, Inc., a multi-media publisher, and Newtrend, a financial industry technology services company, formerly based in Maitland.

Collegis, which has more than 100 college and university clients nationwide, provides strategic services, technology management, learning technology solutions and curriculum solutions to higher education. The corporation, based in suburban Orlando, was founded in 1986.
