With reduced travel budgets and training resources, many companies are looking for cost effective alternatives to reduce expensive Instructor-led classroom training events. In conjunction with Convene’s Collaborative Web-based Training (CWBT) platform, Izio™, both corporate and academic organizations can realize the immense power of synchronous training and meetings.
Using WebEx’s real-time communications services, Convene’s Izio™ platform users are now able to communicate and participate in “live” Internet learning events with classmates, colleagues, customers, distributors, or suppliers from anywhere at anytime. The addition of WebEx services provides organizations and universities with the ability to conduct both asynchronous and synchronous learning events to construct the optimum blended learning solution for their courses.
Using the Izio™ platform, instructors can provide all of the elements of an instructor-led classroom event asynchronously online, including announcements, assignments, handouts, tests, evaluations, discussion, feedback, recording performance and completion status, establishing team projects, and overall course organization. From the Izio(TM) platform, learners can launch synchronous learning events through WebEx.
