Columbia Prof Foresees Next Best Thing To Time Travel

Not personally of course, and unfortunately, not literally. But Pavlik, the director of the Center for New Media at New York’s Columbia University, is conducting research with his students on a technology that may be the next best thing to time travel. Or at least, that will be the case until quantum physicists finally figure out how to scan and fax the electronic-information equivalent of a human being through subatomic “worm holes” to parallel universes. (Which, obviously, is another story.)
