Columbia committee reports on Fathom.com’s difficulties

(U-WIRE) NEW YORK — Fathom.com, Columbia University’s largest online learning venture, underwent a major change to its business plan, but will likely not turn a profit in the near future, a University Senate subcommittee told the full body on Friday.
