Cognitive Styles and Distance Education
This review is designed to address this issue. This article involves four sections: (a) an overview of the construct of cognitive styles, (b) major dimensions of cognitive styles, (c) major characteristics of distance education, and (d) applications of cognitive styles to the design of distance education.
