Click2learn Expands Aspen European Partner Network into Scandinavia with Addition of Danish Partner DanskMedieDesign

October 29, 2002

In addition to introducing the Aspen Productivity Suite(TM) into the Scandinavian market, DanskMedieDesign will also offer implementation, support and specialist consulting around Click2learn’s Aspen platform and custom content development.

Aspen 2.0 has been architected to enable the capture, creation, management and dissemination of corporate knowledge in real time to improve workforce productivity and business performance. The industry’s first integrated, comprehensive learning and productivity suite, Aspen combines a Learning Management System (LMS), a Learning Content Management System (LCMS) and a Virtual Classroom (VC) capability.

“We wanted to enter the corporate learning space and, after careful consideration, identified Aspen as the best solution on the market, with the added benefit of extensive support from its London-based European headquarters,” commented Tom Skovbon, CEO, DanskMedieDesign. “We have a number of customers already using Click2learn’s authoring tools. As part of the Aspen European Partner Network, we will now be able to provide them with a fully integrated end-to-end platform incorporating content creation, management, delivery and measurement.”

“Scandinavia is a complex multi-lingual territory, which makes it crucial to have a partner on the ground that can work in all four local languages. This ability, as well as DanskMedieDesign’s extensive experience designing learning media for the publishing industry, make it the ideal choice to deliver our workforce productivity solutions within the Scandinavian market,” commented Stephen Bennett, VP Europe, Click2learn. “As with all of our European partners, our key objective is to provide every support in order to transfer knowledge to complement DanskMedieDesign’s existing expertise.”
