January 8, 2002

E-learning company, Cenquest, today

announced it has been chosen by NYU Stern to transform for online delivery components

of the core courses offered in the Langone Program: A Part-Time MBA for Working

Professionals. Stern’s Langone Program was recently ranked the top part-time

MBA program in the country by U.S. News & World Report. By making selected

modules of each core course available online, Stern students will gain the added

flexibility and convenience needed to manage more effectively the balance between

work, family and classroom responsibilities.

Cenquest was selected because of the e-learning company’s expertise in

transforming traditional university curricula into a highly effective online

learning experience. Cenquest will work closely with Stern professors to create

comprehensive and engaging online components of the classes.

“Our key objective is to deliver a premier educational experience that

also encompasses a high level of flexibility for our students who are managing

full-time careers in addition to our rigorous MBA program,” said Kim Corfman,

academic director of NYU Stern’s Langone Program. “Cenquest will enable

us to provide students with an e-learning model that will be applied to components

of certain courses, making it easier to complete assignments and interact with

professors and classmates outside of the classroom.”

Cenquest’s past experience with NYU Stern includes collaborative work

on the highly acclaimed global TRIUM Executive MBA program. TRIUM, an innovative

alliance between NYU Stern, the London School of Economics and Political Science

(LSE), and HEC School of Management, Paris (HEC Paris) “offers the world”

first truly global MBA program. Cenquest’s e-learning component is being

used as a “home base” for students and complements the face-to-face

in-class portion of the program.

“Cenquest has gained a reputation among leading universities for designing

and delivering highly effective online versions of a school’s traditional

curriculum,” said LaVonne Reimer, CEO of Cenquest. “Our goal with

the Langone program is to create an engaging learning experience that provides

working professionals with the added flexibility they often need to successfully

manage work, school and personal responsibilities.”

Online components of the core courses of Stern’s part-time MBA Langone

Program will be rolled out to Stern MBA students beginning in Spring 2002.
