Campus Pipeline Announces New CTO

January 31, 2001

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan 30, 2001 — Campus Pipeline Inc., a higher education Internet technology provider, announced Tuesday that Purshotam (Percy) Rajani has joined the company as senior vice president of technology and chief technology officer.

Rajani will lead development of the next generation Campus Pipeline(TM) Web platform, used by colleges nationwide to unite campus communication, academic resources and administrative services under one online roof, literally placing the entire campus at the fingertips of students, faculty and staff.

Rajani comes to Campus Pipeline from TenFold Corp. (Nasdaq: TENF), developer of large-scale e-business applications for the banking, communications, energy, healthcare, insurance and investment management industries, where he served as vice president of development for the Universal Application Server and managed the North Carolina development office.

Prior to TenFold, he held many executive positions, including international vice president of development at Intersolv Corp., a software tools and services company; vice president and general manager of the Distributed Computing Products Group at Seer Technologies, an IT software company; and founder, president, and chief executive officer of Spruce Technologies Corp., a software tools supplier for the personal computing industry.

He was also instrumental in designing databases and middleware applications at Bell Laboratories.

Rajani’s hiring is the first appointment to Campus Pipeline’s executive management team since Tom Lewis, former CEO of Ameritrade Holding Corp., took the post of CEO at Campus Pipeline in November of 2000. Lewis and Rajani previously worked together at TenFold Corp. and at Seer Technologies Corp., where Lewis was a co-founder.

“I have consistently been impressed with Percy’s vision in conceiving and delivering leading-edge products, his leadership skills, his professionalism and his values,” said Lewis. “Percy is an excellent addition to our executivemanagement team.”

“Today’s announcement is a direct result of tapping the relationships Tom has built with some of the country’s top technology leaders throughout his career. He was instrumental in identifying the strategic requirements of Campus Pipeline and recruiting Percy, an individual with the talent to position the company for continued success,” said Darin Gilson, COO of Campus Pipeline.

More than 600 campuses have licensed the Campus Pipeline Web platform, 65 of which are using it today to improve the teaching, learning and working experience of their students, faculty and staff.
