Library Technology Joins the Digital Campus

SALT LAKE CITY July 23, 2001 Campus Pipeline, Inc. and Talis Information Limited today announced a marketing agreement that will bring together Campus Pipelines Web-integration software and services with the United Kingdoms leading provider of integrated library systems.

Under the agreement, Talis will market the Campus PipelineLAKE Web platform as its portal of choice in the education sector. The two companies also plan to work together in developing integration between the Talis library and information resource software and the Campus Pipeline Web platform for the benefit of universities and colleges throughout the UK and Ireland.

Talis library systems manage the activities of nearly 30 percent of college libraries in the UK and Ireland. In addition to paper-based information, these systems increasingly manage the libraries growing digital resources.
