Call for Papers – International Review of Research in Open and Distance Learning (www.irrodl.org).
Manuscript submissions should be double spaced and adhere to APA style (5th edition). While IRRODL places no limit on page numbers, tables and figures, we do ask that you keep your submission succinct and to the point, and only provide those tables and figures that add to the article.
As soon as we receive your manuscript, it will be screened to ensure it fits with IRRODL’s editorial standards. If it is deemed acceptable, your manuscript will be sent to our editors for blind peer review. Results of the blind peer review should arrive via email within 2 months. If accepted for publication, your submission will be published in the next “open” issue (e.g., 3 months maximum) or placed in the appropriate “theme” issue if applicable. IRRODL has moved to a continuous batch publication cycle, which means IRRODL will be published between 3 to 6 issues per year. Please send your manuscript to: irrodl@athabascau.ca

FYI: Currently, IRRODL has over 6800+ voluntary subscribers in 89 countries; many more “non-subscribers” download and cite IRRODL articles on a daily basis. As an open source e-journal dedicated to disseminating research, theory and practice in open and distance learning, authors who publish in IRRODL enjoy global exposure as evidenced by an approximate average of 7,000 page hits per day for the 2003/2004 publishing year. Due to growing demand, IRRODL has moved to a continuous batch publication cycle, which means accepted submissions will come to publication within a few weeks to months after formal acceptance.
