BELLEVUE, Wash.–July 16, 2002–Click2learn (Nasdaq:CLKS) today announced that Barry Stockwell has joined the company as vice president, corporate alliances.

In his new position, Stockwell will report directly to Click2learn chairman and CEO Kevin Oakes and will focus on the development of worldwide distribution alliances for the Aspen(TM) Enterprise Learning Platform.

Stockwell comes to Click2learn from IT outsourcing leader Centerbeam, where he was vice president of strategic relations. Prior to his tenure at SmartForce, Stockwell held partnership-related positions at Bay Area companies SGI (Silicon Graphics, Inc.), NeXT Computer, Apple and Verbatim. He will continue to reside in and work from Los Altos, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley.

“As Click2learn evolves to the next level, alliances and partnerships will be increasingly more important to its success,” said Stockwell. “I welcome the opportunity to help lead the company in this initiative by collaborating with forward-looking enterprises who see the potential to leverage the powerful Aspen platform into their customer base.”
