At MIT, a Division on the Divide

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts. — With a list of panelists that included former heads of state as well as up-and-coming hip-hop artists, there was bound to be some heterogeneity.

But with a roster of more than 300 participants from all parts of the globe, the first Harvard/MIT eDevelopment conference joined more diverse causes under one banner than any president or DJ could hope to do justice to in a career of speeches — or albums.
