“Dr. Zatz has an impressive background in both higher education and technology — providing us the insights necessary to shape our growth and enrich our curriculum,“ says Wally Boston, president and chief executive officer for the University System, which serves more than 12,000 online learners worldwide ( “Ultimately, her appointment is part of our overall mission to provide superior and relevant distance learning opportunities.”

“I’m honored to be leading such a phenomenal team, one that is making a real difference in the lives of our students,” says Zatz, who earned her doctorate in higher and adult education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. “The University System has achieved much since its founding and we are poised to achieve even more.”
Zatz brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration, with a focus on integrating technology.
